MY STORY
Elkie began formal anatomy and physiology training in 2003 studying Swedish & holistic massage.
As a child Elkie discovered that she could find the cause of muscular discomfort in others; inspiring her great interest in the positive benefits of the power of touch and massage.
Elkie began formal anatomy and physiology training in 2003 studying Swedish & holistic massage adding sports and remedial massage, business and professional conduct and acupressure chair massage
However, it wasn’t until Elkie was expecting her own child that she found her talent for massage led her to study pregnancy massage and then, after the birth of her daughter, infant massage at St Thomas’ Hospital with the International Association of Infant Massage.
Elkie’s enthusiasm has taken her training far beyond the requirements of a massage therapist.

Elkie’s enthusiasm has taken her training far beyond the requirements of a massage therapist, regularly attending other therapists classes such as Alexandra Technique, reflexology and pilates for posture correction and ensures her continuous professional development exceeds both ITEC and IAIM guidelines by attending seminars and undertaking further training.
